Build with Metamaps on your website, in your mobile app, in your business systems, or through an AI agent. Choose an integration for your use case, then follow the guides from installation to your first operation.

You can combine these integrations. For example, embed a map on your facility's website, use the SDK in your membership app, and keep store information up to date through the API. With MCP, AI agents act within the maps and operations the user authorizes.

Before you start

For Web Embed and the SDK, publish a map and have its public URL ready. If the URL is https://metamaps.jp/d/example, its slug is example. Replace every example in these guides with the slug of your own map.

For the API, use the per-map integration API key issued in the Metamaps admin console. For user-authorized MCP connections, sign in to Metamaps and choose the maps and permissions on the OAuth consent screen.

Map identifiers and authentication

IntegrationMap identifierAuthentication
Web Embedslug or a public map URL in srcNo API key for published maps
Mobile SDKmapSlugNo API key for published maps
Integration API{slug} in the request URLX-Api-Key header
User-authorized MCPThe map returned by list_mapsOAuth

The MCP map identifier differs from the public map slug. Always use the value returned by list_maps. Keep API keys on your server; do not put them in HTML, browser JavaScript, or distributed apps.

Guides and references

Guides explain installation and common workflows. The API reference describes request fields, responses, and errors. You can also read the complete iOS, Android, and Flutter installation guides and the SDK query parameter reference here.

Source code, distribution files, and release information are maintained in the public Metamaps SDK repository. If you need help choosing an integration, contact us.
